Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, offers a Nurse Residency program for newly licensed RNs. This full-time role supports coordination of nursing care across diverse settings and includes opportunities for leadership, education, and professional development.

The program is aligned with Mayo Clinic’s patient-first mission and includes potential VisaScreen sponsorship for eligible candidates. The RN will work in a high-acuity environment, collaborating with multiple care teams across inpatient

Competenze

Student or Graduate of a nursing program, as recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
All entry-level RN start dates on/after Apr 1, 2020 must provide evidence of BSN within five years from RN start date.
One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of current Mayo Clinic LPN experience is preferred.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); ability to work in a team; computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
Internal applicants should submit their three most recent performance appraisals.

Coordinate nursing care, including direct care, education and transitions of care.
Provide leadership through preceptor roles, informal and formal leadership, and quality improvements.
Delegate patient care according to skill level, patient acuity, and resource availability.
May be required to drive a personal vehicle as part of the role.
