Job summary

Exeter Hospital, now part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, offers a year-long Nurse Residency Program to newly licensed nurses with hands-on clinical experience and interprofessional collaboration. The program includes orientation, varied patient exposure, and mentorship from experienced preceptors and educators. Shifts run 7:00 a.m.

– 7:30 p.m. with every 3rd weekend coverage. A 10% float differential is available after program completion, and eligibility requires NH RN licensure or compact state

Qualifications

• 0–6 months experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse – NH or other compact state; BCLS certification for select positions.

Responsibilities

• Complete corporate and Nursing & Clinical Orientation and required competencies.
• Collaborate with preceptors, nurse educators and managers to deliver safe patient care.
• Provide hands-on clinical experience across Med‑surg/tele/PCU/ED holds as part of the residency.
