Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is offering a Nurse Residency Program for senior nursing students, new graduates and RNs with less than one year of experience. The program runs 12 months across medical, surgical and step-down units with preceptor-led training and internship opportunities.

Graduates must obtain and maintain a Delaware RN license and commit to two years on the unit of hire. During the residency, trainees will receive ACLS and dysrhythmia training and will rotate between Wilmington

Qualifications

• Graduating from accredited nursing school (BSN Preferred).
• BLS required.
• Less than 12 months of nursing experience by the start of the program.
• Eligible for Delaware license as a Graduate Nurse/Registered Nurse and obtain prior to start date.
• Must be willing and able to work all shifts (day, evening, and overnight), including weekends and holidays, during and after the residency program.
