Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Nurse Residency Program Coordinator to lead the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program. The role requires collaboration with nursing leadership and Human Resources to recruit Nurse Residents and foster professional development across OU Health.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate OU Health Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program under supervision of Nursing leadership.
Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit Nurse Residents and support program development.
Develop and implement curriculum for the Nurse Residency Program with Executive Nursing Council and Clinical Education.
Coordinate classes, labs, and group sessions for the Nurse Residency Program.
Participate in the Residency Advisory Board and report outcomes and needs.
Support orientation, residency program activities, and continuing education.
Identify educational needs and design programs to address gaps and improve outcomes.
Apply evidence-based practice to plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities.
