Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Nurse Residency Program Coordinator to lead the Vizient/AACN residency program and support professional development across nursing departments. You will coordinate curricula, labs, and sessions, mentoring residents and collaborating with leadership to sustain a dynamic program.

Requirements include a BSN (or higher) and an Oklahoma RN license with BLS; four years in clinical/educational roles with residency experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license in Oklahoma (or compact) and BLS required.
• Four years’ clinical/educational practice with leadership responsibilities; residency-experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead OU Health Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program coordination under the Director of Nursing Professional Development.
• Develop OUH Nurse Residency Program curriculum with Executive Nursing Council and Clinical Education.
• Coordinate classes, labs, courses, group sessions and activities for Nurse Residents.
