Job summary

Maimonides Medical Center in New York seeks an experienced Nurse Residency Coordinator to lead our Nurse Residency Program within Nursing Education. You will partner with HR to recruit residents, develop curriculums, coordinate seminars, and oversee progression and retention strategies for new graduates transitioning to practice.

The role requires an MSN (BSN acceptable for internal candidates pursuing MSN), current RN license with BLS, and at least 3 years of acute care and teaching experience.

Qualifications

  • MSN required; BSN acceptable for internal candidates actively pursuing MSN.
  • Current RN license and BLS certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of acute care experience (med-surg, ICU, or specialty).
  • Teaching experience (formal or informal).
  • Experience with e-learning platforms (HealthStream, RQI).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
