Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective care on the assigned patient care unit. Care delivery complies with hospital policies, procedures, and legal and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, documented on all prescribed forms. The RN develops and maintains collaborative, professional relationships with the healthcare team, prioritizes and coordinates patient care, and actively contributes to quality improvement initiatives. The RN also commits to personal professional development and supports the growth of team members, fulfilling all responsibilities as an employee of St. Joseph Health Services of RI.
