Job summary

CHI is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Regional Market Float position in Omaha, Nebraska. The role requires expertise in women's services and allows floating between several facilities. New hires can receive up to $10,000 in sign-on bonuses and educational assistance.

Registered Nurses will assess and deliver care to high-risk pregnant patients and should have an active Nebraska license, BLS and NRP certifications, along with at least two years of relevant experience.

Join our Regional Market Float position. Work in your area of expertise, float to at least 3 of our 5 Omaha Metro locations, and earn 25% hourly differential! Facility selection and shift preference is available first come, first serve.

Regional Float locations include the following CHI Health facilities:
Creighton University Medical Center, Bergan Mercy
Immanuel Hospital
Lakeside Hospital
Lasting Hope Recovery Center (Behavioral positions only)
Mercy Hospital - Council Bluffs, IA
Midlands Hospital - Papillion

This Regional Float position will support our Women's Services departments.

We are offering up to a $10,000 Sign on Bonus and up to $10,000 in Educational Assistance (loan repayment) to new hires who meet the requirements.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within their scope of practice across a designated group of healthcare consumers. The position encompasses the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of care which includes prevention and conservation of health.

• Follow the nursing process which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assessment - Demonstrate a systematic, dynamic way to collect and analyze healthcare consumer data such as psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
• Administer medications accurately and safely.
• Execute accurate and thorough documentation for all patients treated.Keep up with Physician orders.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an RN nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
• BLS: Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required upon hire.
• Other credentials may be needed based on the level of care RN floats to.
• Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities as needed on short notice.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in managing high risk pregnant patients antepartum, throughout labor and delivery, and postpartum. Includes assessment and care for infants immediately post delivery and throughout the postpartum stay. Experience managing patients with diabetes, preeclampsia, and/or pre-term labor is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Pay Range

$36.00 - $52.20 /hour
