An established industry player is seeking a dedicated PRN nurse to work with elementary schools in the Kansas City area. This role involves conducting health screenings for children, supervising students, and facilitating communication with families. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and have experience in pediatric or community nursing. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently. Working with Kansas City area elementary schools, the Score 1 for Health PRN nurse works within a team to ensure successful delivery of elementary school health screening events. As a part of the team, the Score 1 for Health PRN nurse will conduct and ensure follow-up screenings get completed for qualifying children, cultivate alliances with schools and effectively promote child health benefits of the program. Communicates effectively through written, phone and face-to-face methods with parent / guardian and school nurses; and contributes to the advancement of the program and departmental operations.
