Job summary

Weill Cornell Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Women's Midlife Program. The role covers outpatient and inpatient services across multiple NYC locations including Upper East Side and Queens.

You will provide direct patient care, coordinate treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and staff to support clinical and academic missions. Candidates should have an MSN in Nursing, 2+ years of NP experience, and current NYNP/NPR and RN licenses, along with relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for direct patient care on an outpatient and/or inpatient service.
• Evaluates new and/or established patients by obtaining comprehensive and focused health histories and performing both limited and complete physical examinations as appropriate.
• Orders labs, imaging, diagnostic testing, and consultations. Reviews and interprets results to develop patient care plan.
• Prescribes medications and therapeutic interventions as appropriate, following accepted standard of care and practice guidelines.
• Counsels/educates patients and their care providers on disease management and health promotion.
• Confers with specialists and other health care providers to promote continuity of care and optimize patient outcomes.
