Job summary

Sentinel Health Services in Buckhannon, WV is seeking Nurse Practitioners for compensation, pension, and disability examinations, conducted at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access. You must be board-certified Family and Adult NP (1099) with at least 1 year of NP experience (VA experience preferred).

You must have your own office (commercial location, not home-based) with malpractice and liability insurance, and a collaborative agreement if required by state; flexible 1–3

Qualifications

• Board-certified Family and Adult Nurse Practitioners (1099).
• One year NP experience or VA exposure is ideal.
• Ability to design own schedule with flexible days.

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans
• Review digital medical records
• Conduct a physical assessment for specific disability claims
• Submit information through the VA online portal for review
• Exams conducted at approved facilities with required equipment and internet access
• Must be able to perform exams a minimum of 1 to 3 days per week
• Flexible scheduling to align with current patient scheduling.
