Think Aksarben in Omaha, NE is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our health care team under physician supervision. The role focuses on comprehensive assessments, diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient education to support high-quality care.

The APP will collaborate with physicians, perform exams, order tests, prescribe medications, and ensure accurate EHR documentation while adhering to regulations and organizational protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required and APP education for certification with licensure.
• Certification and unrestricted licensure as PA or NP is required.
• Preferred 2 years of clinical practice experience, ideally in urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments including history, exam, and diagnostics.
• Order, perform, and interpret lab and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on findings and guidelines.
• Consult with supervising physicians on complex cases.
• Prescribe medications and administer vaccines per regulations.
• Provide referrals to specialists as appropriate.
• Deliver patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and coding support.
• Ensure infection control, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in quality improvement and interdisciplinary care coordination.
