Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate or higher-level degree from an accredited nursing program (BSN or higher)
• Current, active nursing license in the United States
• APN or Nurse Practitioner qualifications as applicable

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information to form diagnoses
• Develop treatment plans based on standards of care and guidelines
• Diagnose or treat acute health problems such as illnesses and injuries
• Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, dosage and frequency
• Educate patients on self-management of illnesses with tailored instructions
