Avenues Recovery Center is hiring NPs and PAs for our Detox and Residential treatment facility in North Chesterfield, VA. You will create individualized medical care plans, monitor patients, and coordinate care with our clinical and UR teams to support recovery.

Unrestricted NP/PA-C certification and VA license, DEA registration, and at least 1 year in substance use disorder or psychiatry are required. We offer competitive compensation, generous PTO, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted NP/PA-C certification, VA licensed.
• Valid Virginia state medical license.
• Federal DEA certification.
• Minimum 1 year in substance use disorder, psychiatry, or mental health.
• Strong observational and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; collaborative and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create treatment plans and provide medical monitoring and medication management.
• Stabilize patients to enable engagement in treatment.
• Update pharmacy orders, create UDS, med and lab orders, review results.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and UR teams for care coordination.
• Maintain thorough documentation of medical interventions and directives.
• Manage daily and weekly client appointment schedules efficiently.
