The role requires Colorado licensure, active DEA registration, and prior experience in substance use disorder treatment or related fields.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in Colorado.
• Valid Colorado medical license.
• Active DEA registration.
• 1+ year experience in substance use disorder treatment or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medical monitoring and medication management in detox and residential care.
• Stabilize patients with substance use disorders to support engagement in treatment.
• Order and review medications, labs, and urine drug screens (UDS).
• Document all medical care in the EMR and collaborate with teams.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, JCAHO, CARF, and ASAM standards.
• Manage daily and weekly patient schedules.
