Physician Partners of America in Orlando, FL is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to manage perioperative health problems and coordinate patient care in accordance with state and federal rules and nursing standards. You will assist physicians, perform exams, update records, order and analyze tests, and work with the care team under the Practice Administrator.
This role requires a Florida medical license and a valid DEA license, with a preference for 3 years of experience.

Responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for the perioperative patient in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status). Perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members. This position reports to the Practice Administrator
Our Florida Clinics are typically open Monday through Friday. Work hours are subject to change.
Hazards: Occasional contact with communicable diseases, electrical equipment, blood borne pathogens, etc.
Personal protective equipment: Provided if necessary (gowns, gloves, masks, head cover)
