Physician Partners of America seeks a Physician Assistant to manage perioperative patient care in Florida clinics. You will assist physicians, perform exams, maintain records, order and interpret tests, and contribute to treatment plans.
The ideal candidate holds an advanced practice degree, Florida medical and DEA licenses, and has at least 3 years of experience. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for the perioperative patient in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status). Perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members. This position reports to the supervisory medical director of the collaborating physician’s office and then to the Regional Clinical Director.
Our Florida Clinics are typically open Monday through Friday. Work hours are subject to change.
Hazards: Occasional contact with communicable diseases, electrical equipment, blood borne pathogens, etc.
Personal protective equipment: Provided if necessary (gowns, gloves, masks, head cover)
