Physician Partners of America seeks a Nurse Practitioner to manage perioperative health problems and coordinate care in Florida clinics, under the Practice Administrator. You will collaborate with physicians and the health care team to assess status, diagnose, plan treatment, and evaluate patient progress, with perioperative preparation and postoperative management.
The role requires an Advanced Practice degree, Florida medical license and DEA, and typically 3+ years of relevant experience.
Responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for the perioperative patient in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status). Perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members. This position reports to the Practice Administrator
Our Florida Clinics are typically open Monday through Friday. Work hours are subject to change.
Hazards: Occasional contact with communicable diseases, electrical equipment, blood borne pathogens, etc.
Personal protective equipment: Provided if necessary (gowns, gloves, masks, head cover)
