Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program within the last 18 months
- Unrestricted RN license
- Credentialing documentation available 8 weeks before start
- 1 National Board Certification (AANP or ANCC)
- 2 DC APRN license
- 3 DEA license
- 4 CDS license
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including histories and physical exams
- Develop and implement individualized care plans with supervising physicians
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Educate patients and families on health management and prevention
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress
