Job summary

The Virginia League for Planned Parenthood is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Clinician team in Hampton Roads. The NP will provide high quality, patient-centered care across primary care, family planning, GAHT and abortion services, following VLPP protocols.

Experience with LARC (IUDs/implants), ultrasound and medication abortion is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. A full-time schedule qualifies for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

Qualifications

• Virginia APRN licensed with prescriptive authority.
• Specialization in Family Medicine or Women's Health.
• DEA license and Virginia RN license.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care following VLPP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review patient history, offer information on health, family planning and abortion options.
• Perform medical assessment, manage treatment options and medications.
• Perform ultrasound, IUD/implant procedures, and related care.
• Precept/train medical trainees within affiliate guidelines.
