Job summary

BriteLife Recovery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide care to clients struggling with substance use disorders. The NP will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver ongoing care as part of a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates hold an active NP license in the state with PMHNP/FNP dual certification, and at least 2 years of relevant experience; MAT prescribing experience is a plus. BriteLife offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state.
• PMHNP/FNP dual-certified.
• 2 years of substance abuse experience preferred.
• MAT prescribing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessment of client’s medical, physical, and psychosocial status.
• Prescribe and monitor medication as necessary for clients in recovery.
• Obtain and evaluate health and medical history; perform a physical exam, conduct preventive screening procedures based on age and history; Identify medical and health risk.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to clients.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of observations, interventions, plan of care, referrals, follow-up, and progress in electronic health records.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
