Job summary

Woodland Recovery Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in Southaven, MS. The NP will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, working with physicians and other clinicians to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in a hospital setting.

The role includes prescribing and managing medications, including MAT, developing individualized treatment plans, and educating patients and families on recovery

Qualifications

• NP certification required (ANCC/AANP)
• DEA license and buprenorphine waiver preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments including physical exams and medical history reviews
• Order, interpret, and monitor diagnostic tests to inform care
• Develop diagnoses and individualized treatment plans for substance use and co-occurring disorders
• Prescribe and manage medications including MAT following protocols
• Educate patients and families on treatment options and relapse prevention
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to ensure cohesive care
