Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
• Current Adult Nurse Practitioner license to practice in Texas.
• Minimum of 12 months of current nursing practice in the specialty.
• Knowledge of Medical Staff Bylaws, Rule and Regulations.
• BLS from the American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the quality of care delivered to patients.
• Collaborates with other health care professionals in delivery of health care services.
• Makes independent and interdependent decisions about health regimens with physicians.
• Performs delegated medical acts with responsibility.
