Job summary

The ideal candidate holds Texas NP licensure as well as an RN license and BLS certification, with at least 12 months in the relevant nursing specialty. This role supports population health initiatives within a large UHS-affiliated network.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
- Current Adult Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 12 months of current nursing practice in the specialty.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the quality of care delivered to patients.
- Collaborates with other health care professionals in the delivery of health care services.
- Makes independent decisions about nursing needs and interdependent decisions with physicians regarding health regimens.
- Assumes dependent responsibilities in carrying out delegated medical acts.
- Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all groups.
