Job summary

Pawnee County Memorial Hospital in Nebraska seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide primary health care and specialized services in a collaborative setting. The NP will diagnose medical conditions, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate patient responses under a collaborating physician.

Telemedicine/phone oversight may be involved; you will work as an advocate for PCMH/RHC to serve patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree required.
• Nebraska NP license and national certification required.
• Current Nebraska license; BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
• Strong communication, multitasking, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services.
• Establish and maintain documentation in the EHR for each patient encounter.
• Provide care independently with telemedicine/phone call oversight.
• Determine treatment course and need for admission, transfer, or discharge.
• Collaborate with Medical Staff and other providers to coordinate care.
• Maintain timely, factual, legible patient documentation.
• Perform emergency treatment as required.
• Promote patient safety and contribute to ongoing professional development.
• Other duties as assigned.
