Job summary

Baptist Health Primary Care Prattville is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Physician Practice. The NP will perform histories, review records, and develop comprehensive medical status reports under the direction of a collaborating physician.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of related nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform histories and review patient records to develop medical status reports.
• Complete physical examinations; make diagnoses and institute therapy including drug therapy.
• Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment; arrange hospital admissions and discharges as directed by the collaborating physician.
• May be required to complete hospital rounds and provide guidance on medical care to patients.
