Job summary

Chiricahua-Community-Health-Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care in adult and family medicine. The role involves direct patient care, diagnostics, and coordination with nurses and support staff in a clinic setting.

The successful candidate will hold an accredited NP degree, a current Arizona NP license, and board certification in their specialty, with CPR certification and commitment to ongoing CME. Travel and fingerprint clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Arizona State NP license and board certification in area of practice.
• Current CPR certification and ongoing participation in continuing medical education.
• Any combination of education/experience that provides necessary skills may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides and manages direct patient care, including exams, evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment within scope.
• Prescribes medications and treatment regimens as appropriate.
• Directs and coordinates patient care activities of nursing and support staff.
• Maintains patient records and provides accurate billing data.
• Participates in health promotion and preventive programs as appropriate.
• Mentors clinical staff and participates in education of students and partners.
