Axis Health System is hiring a Nurse Practitioner in Durango, CO to provide medical health services within clinic protocols and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. duties include exams, diagnostics, treatment plans, and documentation in the EMR.

The role requires CO RN/NP licenses, DEA prescriptive authority, ACLS, and relevant specialty certification. Travel between Axis locations may be required. Benefits and loan repayment programs are available.

Qualifications

• Colorado RN and NP licenses required.
• DEA licensure with prescriptive authority.
• ACLS certification required.
• National Acute Care NP certification when applicable.
• Experience aligned with sponsoring physician's area.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and prescriptions.
• Consult with physicians regarding referrals or higher level evaluation.
• Collaborate with clinic personnel and physicians.
• Contribute to development of integrated health care models and clinic protocols.
• Document care in the electronic medical record.
