Job summary

Optum Colorado is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Denver team, providing high-quality primary care and coordinating patient treatment in an outpatient setting.

Active CO APRN/PA license (or ability to obtain), prescribing authority and DEA are required. Base salary is competitive with bonus and comprehensive benefits including relocation and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted APRN or PA license in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Prescribing authority, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• DEA license or ability, to obtain prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in outpatient setting.
• Comfortable seeing patients of all ages; primarily adults/senior base.
• Complete timely and thorough documentation.
• Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and procedures.
• Order lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan.
