Indian Health Service seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver compassionate care across generations and work under federal guidelines. You will analyze histories, diagnose, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications while educating patients for self-management.

This role includes a recruitment/relocation sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and requires meeting rigorous background and licensure standards for federal service. On-call and rotating shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Education must be from an accredited nursing program and meet licensure requirements.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and interpret patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information to develop diagnoses.
• Develop treatment plans based on standards of care and guidelines.
• Diagnose or treat acute health problems such as illnesses, infections, and injuries.
• Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, dosage and frequencies.
• Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses tailored to individuals.
