Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based primary care for all ages while educating future physicians. The role supports clinic- and school-based research in a collaborative, interprofessional academic environment.

The position is 0.5 FTE (approximately 2–2.5 clinical days per week) in Utah, with responsibilities spanning direct patient care, teaching medical students, and engaging in quality improvement and scholarly

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP from an accredited program.
• Current Utah APRN/NP license, or eligibility before start date.
• National Family Nurse Practitioner certification through AANP or ANCC.
• Active DEA registration, or eligibility before start date, and current BLS certification.
• Primary care or family medicine experience with strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions with preventive care and education.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies; prescribe therapies and coordinate referrals.
• Precept and mentor medical students and provide feedback and evaluation.
• Participate in research, quality improvement, patient safety, and population health initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, faculty, researchers, and interprofessional team members.

• Precept and mentor medical students, providing instruction, feedback, and clinical performance evaluation.
• Participate in research, quality improvement, patient safety, and population health initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, faculty, researchers, and interprofessional team members.

Required Qualifications

• MSN or DNP from an accredited program.

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive compensation is offered based on experience and qualifications, prorated to 0.5 FTE.
