Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP, or PhD) is required.
• Active APRN license in the state of practice.
• Nurse Practitioner certification in AGACNP.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of recent clinical experience as a nurse practitioner.
• Previous teaching, precepting, or academic experience strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentorship skills.
• Commitment to supporting student learning, diversity, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Supervise NP students during clinical shifts with mentorship.
• Provide constructive feedback on clinical performance and professional development.
• Approve and verify student clinical hours and conduct site visits per requirements.
• Document evaluations and progress in accordance with program guidelines.
• Coordinate with program leadership regarding student progress and remediation needs.
• Participate in orientation, training, and calibration sessions for clinical teaching and evaluation.
