Job summary

Christiana Care Health Services, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join the Plastic Reconstructive Surgery team. The role focuses on operating room responsibilities as First Assist, including breast reconstruction and microsurgical flap procedures, with clinic duties on other days.

The candidate will work under the plastic surgeon, providing patient care per approved protocols, and will gain evolving independence with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA or ACNP program.
• Delaware licensure or license eligible for PA/NP.
• RNFA certification is required for NP candidates.
• ACLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative first assist for breast reconstruction and microsurgical flap procedures.
• Assist surgeon with patient care using approved protocols.
• Develop increasing independence under surgeon guidance and participate in on-call duties.
