Job summary

Novant Health Urgent Care in Columbia, SC, is looking for a full-time Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join their expanding team. You will be part of a dedicated group, providing quality care across various urgent care centers. The position requires a Master's degree and active SC licensure with a commitment to serving diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner (with specialty) or Physician Assistant.
• Active SC licensure, DEA, and Controlled Substance registration.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in urgent care or family practice.

Responsibilities

• Work with patient services representatives, nurses, and medical assistants.
• Serve diverse populations aged 6 months and above.
• Deliver quality healthcare in an urgent care setting.

What Are We Looking For?

Novant Health Urgent Care is currently looking for a Physician Assistant or a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing urgent care family. The provider works with the support of our teams of patient services representatives, nurses, medical assistants, and x-ray techs to serve our diverse populations ages 6 months and above.

Do You Have What It Takes?

A good candidate will bring with them:

• APP: Master's degree in either Nurse Practitioner (with Family Nurse Practitioner specialty), or Physician Assistant
• Active SC licensure
• Active DEA and SC Controlled Substance
• DOT Certification
• 2 or more years of experience working in either family practice or urgent care setting
• Willing to work12 hourshifts and weekends
• Willing to work at other centers as needed
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct.

An ideal candidate would also have:

• 5 or more years of urgent care experience as a FNP or PA
