Nurse Practitioner - Outpatient Pain Management

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Our partner, a premier academic health system in Philadelphia, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join their Anesthesiology - Pain Management team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' quality of life in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence: Diagnose, treat, and manage patients' pain conditions in a collaborative outpatient setting.
• Patient-Centered Care: Administer advanced nursing care and therapeutic treatments while focusing on creating a safe, ethical, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
• Team Collaboration: Work directly with a licensed physician to prescribe medical therapeutics and contribute to comprehensive care plans.
• Stable Schedule: Enjoy a standard Monday-Friday, 40-hour work week with a focus on 9 clinical days and 1 administrative day per pay period.

Qualifications

• A Master\'s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• A current and active Pennsylvania CRNP and RN license.
• BLS certification is required; Prescriptive Authority is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred, with a focus on pain management or a related clinical specialty.
• Prior experience in an outpatient or ambulatory setting is highly valued.
