Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital is seeking an experienced Full-time Advanced Practice Provider with Inpatient, Med Surg, or ICU experience to join their Medicine team. New Graduates who are licensed are welcome to apply.

Lutheran Hospital's Department of Hospital Medicine APP consists of a 14-member team of APRNs and PAs supporting internal medicine, gastroenterology, general surgery, and neurosurgery services.

Schedule: 4-10s, Days, Rotating weekends. No Holidays currently.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical exams, initiate labs, radiology tests, and develop diagnoses and treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures as credentialed and privileged.
• Perform routine and specialized procedures as credentialed.
• Prescribe and monitor medications per license and hospital policies.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatments, and side effects.
• Participate in rounds, collaborate with team members, and ensure quality care.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
• Coordinate care, discharge planning, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support professional development and promote evidence-based practices.
• May conduct research, assist in data collection, serve as preceptor, and onboard new staff.

Education and Certifications:

APRN: MSN required upon hire or within 3 years; graduate of an accredited APRN program. Neonatal care requires a Master’s Degree upon hire.

PA: Graduate of an A.R.C.-approved Physician Assistant Program; Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or higher.

Languages: English (oral and written)

Certifications vary by role (NP, CNS, PA) and include licensure, national certification, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP, and credentialing as specified.

Work Experience:

Related clinical experience preferred.

Physical and PPE Requirements:

• Ability to walk, stand, manual dexterity, corrected vision and hearing.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to communicable diseases/body fluids; use of PPE required.
