Job summary

Optum in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care with a focus on quality, not volume. You will see patients of all ages in a supportive, collaborative environment.

With a schedule Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, expect a patient load of 18-20 daily and a comprehensive benefits package. Active CA license and CA DEA are required prior to start date.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted CA License.
• CA DEA certificate required prior to start date.
• Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant school.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment.
• Patient volume is 18-20 on average.
• See patients of all ages, newborns to geriatric age.
• M-F, 8am-5pm.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500 - $164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
