Job summary

OptumCare in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. The clinician will provide direct patient care with focus on patient needs rather than volume, performing exams, assessments, diagnoses and treatment.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth. New grads are welcome to apply; CA license and CA DEA certificate required before start date.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted California license (CA).
• CA DEA certificate required prior to start date.
• Certificate of completion from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Experience with EMR systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment.
• See patients across all ages, from newborns to geriatric.
• Maintain patient-focused care within a collaborative team environment.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $113,000 - $173,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
