Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Nephrology to provide inpatient and outpatient care on a busy medical center campus. The role includes inpatient rounding with physician partners, assisting with outpatient dialysis, and managing kidney-related consults and follow-ups.

Training will be provided; Bachelor's degree in PA studies is required and a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant studies is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Prior nephrology training is not necessary, as training will be provided.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments; team-oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounding with physician partners.
• Assist with outpatient dialysis.
• Manage new consults and inpatient follow-ups for kidney injury and electrolyte issues.
• Evaluate dialysis patients and support outpatient nephrology clinics.
• Inpatient charting and documentation; collaboration with the healthcare team.
