Job summary

Novant Health Urgent Care is seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Hillcrest location in Spartanburg, SC. You will work with a team of PAs, RNs, medical assistants and X-ray techs to serve patients ages 6 months and up in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in NP (Family) or Physician Assistant, valid SC licensure, DEA registration, DOT certification, and at least 2 years of urgent care or family practice experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in NP (Family) or Physician Assistant.
• Active SC licensure.
• Active DEA and SC Controlled Substances.
• DOT Certification.
• 2+ years of experience in family practice or urgent care.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.
• Willing to work at other centers as needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

What Are We Looking For?

Novant Health Urgent Care is currently looking for a Physician Assistant or a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing urgent care family. The provider works with the support of our teams of patient services representatives, nurses, medical assistants, and x-ray techs to serve our diverse populations ages 6 months and above.

Do You Have What It Takes?

A good candidate will bring with them:

• APP: Master's degree in either Nurse Practitioner (with Family Nurse Practitioner specialty), or Physician Assistant
• Active SC licensure
• Active DEA and SC Controlled Substance
• DOT Certification
• 2 or more years of experience working in either family practice or urgent care setting
• Willing to work12 hourshifts and weekends
• Willing to work at other centers as needed
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct.

An ideal candidate would also have:

• 5 or more years of urgent care experience as a Physician, FNP or PA
