UW Health's Emergency Department in Madison seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a team of ~25 APPs and 50 faculty, delivering high-quality care to a busy patient population.
You will evaluate and manage patients in collaboration with onsite physicians, order and interpret studies, and prescribe medications. The role offers varied shifts across days, evenings, nights, weekends, and call, with 80-100% FTE in a dynamic academic hospital system.
80-100% FTE, nine hour shifts. Hours will vary to provide appropriate coverage and to meet the needs of the department, which will include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and call.
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. The Emergency Department is seeking a highly motivated NP/PA to work alongside a strong cohort of approximately 25 advanced practice providers and 50 core faculty to help aid in the evaluation and management of patients in our busy University Hospital and East Madison Hospital.
