Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our adult Critical Care team in the MICU. You will perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, and deliver expert care with a high degree of autonomy.

You will engage in education, quality improvement, and leadership initiatives to support patient outcomes and team development.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts NP license required.
• ANCC or AANP board certification.
• Acute Care / Critical Care clinical experience required.
• Massachusetts PA license required.
• NCCPA certification required for PAs.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
• Deliver expert care with a high degree of autonomy.
• Engage in education, quality improvement and leadership initiatives.
• Collaborate with ICU teams and physicians to develop care plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and document outcomes.
