Job summary

Union Health in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a Cardiology Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to join our outpatient cardiology team. In this full-time, day shift role, you will provide expert assessment, personalized treatment, and patient monitoring to support heart health.

Collaborating with cardiologists, you will perform routine physical assessments, contribute to care plans, educate patients, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited MSN or PA program.
• Must have Indiana RN license.
• Must have active APRN/CSR license, or be eligible for licenses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the physician to determine patient needs.
• Completes routine physical assessments using standard assessment skills.
• Contributes to the plan of care for predefined patient problems.
• Respects patients' rights including informed consent, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Assists with patient education to promote self-care and independence.
• Follows policies and department protocols.
