Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and ongoing management of cardiovascular patients.

• Order and review diagnostic testing, laboratory studies, EKGs, imaging, and stress testing.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and cardiovascular health.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, referring providers, and other members of the clinical team.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.

The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI) is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established cardiovascular team in Gainesville, Florida.

This full-time position provides the opportunity to care for cardiovascular patients across both the clinic and hospital setting. The APP will work alongside experienced cardiologists and fellow advanced practice providers, managing a broad patient population while developing strong clinical experience in cardiovascular medicine.

We welcome experienced providers as well as new graduates who have a strong interest in cardiology. For providers early in their careers, our team offers hands‑on support, mentorship, and the opportunity to build cardiovascular knowledge within an established physician‑led practice.
