Job summary

Walk On Clinic Inc in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our patient-centered primary care team. This role offers part-time hours with FLEX scheduling and the opportunity to impact patient outcomes directly.

You will provide primary care support, conduct exams, order tests, manage treatments, and educate patients while collaborating with clinicians to ensure high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license in the state of Florida
• Master's degree or higher in Nursing (FNP, AGNP) or Physician Assistant Studies
• Current DEA registration and ability to prescribe medications
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
• Excellent bedside manner with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to manage and work with small self-directed teams
• US work authorization (Required)
• Must have US bank account

Responsibilities

• Work independently with patients
• Provide primary care support to include:
• Physical examinations
• Checking vitals and BMI
• Examine personal and family medical histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment and follow-up care
• Prescriptions, shots, and immunizations
• Perform minor procedures such as wound care, suturing, splinting, and laceration repair
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care
• Accurately document patient encounters and maintain thorough medical records
