Job summary

Walk On Clinic, Inc in Sarasota, FL is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing primary care team. You will provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, perform exams, manage chronic conditions, and support a collaborative medical staff dedicated to quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include independent patient visits, health assessments, prescribing medications, order and interpret tests, and documenting encounters.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license in Florida.
• Master's degree in Nursing (FNP/AGNP) or PA studies.
• Current DEA registration and ability to prescribe medications.
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• US work authorization (Required)

Responsibilities

• Work independently with patients.
• Provide primary care support including physical examinations, vitals and BMI, history-taking.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment and follow-up care.
• Perform minor procedures such as wound care, suturing, splinting, and laceration repair.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff; document patient encounters thoroughly.

• Excellent bedside manner with a patient-first attitude
