Spine Institute of the Carolinas is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our orthopedic spine team. You will provide high-quality patient care as part of a dedicated healthcare group serving the Lowcountry of South Carolina.

The role involves collaboration with surgeons and practitioners, performing physical exams, and supporting surgical and clinical activities in a busy spine practice at Hilton Head Regional Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Experience in a surgical or spine care setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and communicate clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership qualities and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with specialists to diagnose and treat spine-related illnesses.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities.
• Assist with surgery and hospital rounds (no after hour calls).

• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Assist with surgery and hospital rounds (No after hour calls)
