Job summary

The Chautauqua Center (TCC), a Community Health Center, seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver quality primary care under physician supervision in Dunkirk/Jamestown, NY. Our clinic network prioritizes compassionate, comprehensive patient care.

NY license, board certification, CPR, and at least 1 year in primary care are required; bilingual Spanish/English preferred. We offer PSLF/NHSC loan repayment, health plans, a 403b, PTO, holidays, and onboarding support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Licensed to work in New York State.
• Board Certification.
• CPR certified.
• Knowledge of current principles for medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a primary care clinic.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
• Sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.
• Windows-based computer literacy.
• Valid NY driver's license with clean record and access to insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY:

Provide quality and cost effective primary care services to patient population, meeting their diverse health and social needs, under the supervision of a physician. The Chautauqua Center (TCC) expects all employees to respond and participate to emergency situation per emergency policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
• Licensed to work in the state of New York
• Board Certification
• CPR certified
• Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise
• Minimum 1 year experience in a primary care clinic
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
• Sensitivity in the provision of services to people of various ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic, education and lifestyle backgrounds
• Computer literate in a Windows-based environment
• A valid State Driver's license with clean records and access to insured automobile
