Job summary

CAREonsite in the United States is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our occupational health team. The role includes performing minor surgical and therapeutic procedures, occupational health services, and pre-employment physicals while delivering high-quality patient care.

Compensation ranges from $152,000 to $162,000 per year with a $20,000 sign-on bonus; the position is a full-time, day-shift role with on-call responsibilities after hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
• Active PA or NP license in the applicable state.
• Current DEA license.
• BCLS (CPR/AED) or ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor surgical and therapeutic procedures, including suturing, injections, immunizations, burn care, and foreign body removal (subcutaneous and ocular).
• Provide occupational health services, including DOT exams and treatment of workers' compensation injuries.
• Conduct pre-employment physicals and other job-related medical evaluations.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in the EMR system.
• Serve as a clinical leader, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Schedule & Pay:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday 40hrs day shift, in addition to on call for after hours and weekends incidents.
• Pay: $152,000 - $162,000 / year
• $20,000 Sign-on Bonus

What You’ll Do:

• Perform minor surgical and therapeutic procedures, including suturing, injections, immunizations, burn care, and foreign body removal (subcutaneous and ocular).
• Provide occupational health services, including DOT exams and treatment of workers' compensation injuries.
• Conduct pre-employment physicals and other job-related medical evaluations.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Serve as a clinical leader, ensuring high-quality patient care.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in occupational medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care.
• Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a healthcare team.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in both fast-track and main emergency department settings.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
• Active PA or NP license in the applicable state.
• Current DEA license.
• BCLS (CPR/AED) or ACLS certification.

Additional Requirements:

Industrial client site. Monday – Friday 40hrs day shift, in addition to on call for after hours and weekends incidents. Solo provider on site supported remotely. Three years of military service as a PA/NP preferred.
