Elios, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an outpatient, adult-medicine focused role in Amarillo, TX. This contract position offers 45-minute evaluations, no call duties, and a collaborative clinical environment.

Work is onsite with flexible scheduling, ranging from 1 day per week to a full-time 32–40 hours. The assignment runs up to one year with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license required.
• 2+ years of experience with strong adult assessment and clinical documentation.
• Experience with medically complex adult populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive 45-minute evaluations with adult patients.
• Assess a wide range of presentations, including chronic medical conditions, musculoskeletal complaints, and functional limitations.
• Evaluate anxiety, depression, and stress-related symptoms as part of whole-person care.
• Manage general primary care and internal medicine related concerns.
• Produce clear, thorough clinical documentation.
• Practice independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Set a schedule that works for you, anywhere from 1 day per week up to full time (32 to 40 hours weekly is the ideal).

About the Role

You’ll provide comprehensive evaluations for adult patients in a structured outpatient setting, with 45-minute appointments that give you actual time with each person. No call responsibilities, and no high-volume productivity metrics hanging over your day.

Our client is a respected outpatient healthcare organization where providers work within a collaborative, well-supported clinical environment. The patient population is adults presenting with chronic health concerns, musculoskeletal conditions, mental health symptoms, and complex medical histories, so the clinical work stays varied and substantive.
